"Insights" into the luxury markets from Karla Otto PR and The Independents Group

The first-ever white paper by Karla Otto PR and the Independents Group agency network provides an outlook on future consumer behavior in the luxury sector.

The study, which surveyed more than 900 consumers in key markets, came to the conclusion that it will be increasingly essential for luxury brands to score points with their customers in the areas of "storytelling", "cultural relevance" and "unique experiences".

This development could lead to a slight decline in sales of fashion and luxury bags and an increase in sales of art, watches and jewelry. Brands whose worlds of experience are traditionally strong in terms of uniqueness and cultural enrichment or that are able to develop this will have an advantage.
