The "Best Global Brands" 2023 study by brand consultancy Interbrand analyzes the development of the world's best brands.
In addition to financial success, the underlying criteria of the study are brand strength and the existing product ecosystem of the companies.
In 2023, Apple is in first place ahead of Microsoft, Amazon in third place ahead of Google and BMW in 10th place ahead of Tesla (12th place). The two brands with the highest double-digit growth in 2023 are airbnb and Porsche. The best-placed luxury brands outside of the automotive industry are Louis Vuitton in 14th place, Chanel in 22nd place and Hermès in 23rd place. The brand loser in all areas is Budweiser with a drop of 16%.
